Ice to benefit from T Wholesale’s scale, systems, network, and expertise
T Wholesale is pleased to announce a substantial voice outsourcing contract with Norwegian energy and telecommunications group Lyse, owner of Norway’s third largest mobile operator: Ice. Under the terms of the agreement, Ice will benefit from T Wholesale’s full international voice outsourcing, fraud protection, retail quality termination, sales support, service management, and reporting services.
Lyse is a leader in fiber-based broadband and the third largest provider of mobile services in Norway – under the brands Altibox and Ice.
International voice remains a key requirement for Ice but the operator opted to free up resources so they can fully focus on their core growth areas as well as returning their value creation to society. T Wholesale’s services now help manage Ice’s international voice business, improving profitability through scale and optimized routing capabilities. Ice can simplify its business processes with cost savings from aggregation, and with zero investment to keep ongoing state-of-the-art IT technology. T Wholesale’s geo-redundant network ensures that Lyse is already prepared for the next technical evolution.
“We provide Ice with customized high-quality international voice services, including transparent service level management, 24/7 NOC support, and big data-based, automated security,” says Nicholas Nikrouyan, VP Voice & Mobile Solutions at T Wholesale. “Our commitment to exceptional customer service and support convinced Ice during our trial period that we are a trustworthy partner who delivers consistent, personalized solutions, stable retail quality and significant cost savings.”
“Our goal is to build and develop critical infrastructure that enables the electrification and digitalization of Norway,” says Kristian Kulsrud, VP Roaming at Lyse. T Wholesale helps us manage our international voice services by taking away our commercial and technical risks, so we can fully focus on our core business objectives.”
