Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier at Futurecom 2024

Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier today announced its participation in Futurecom 2024, Latin America's premier technology event. This marks the German wholesale organization's debut at the convention, underscoring its commitment to expanding its presence in the region.

The company stated that the move is a response to increasing customer demand for a local presence, which it views as essential for strengthening communication and fostering more effective business partnerships. The event in São Paulo will also serve as the official introduction of Leonardo Saucedo, the newly appointed LATAM Regional Director, who is based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

At Futurecom, the organization will share an extensive booth with Deutsche Telekom Global Business. One of the highlights will be the unveiling of a new point-of-presence in São Paulo, set to be operational in the first quarter of 2025. This will provide the area’s customers with direct access to Deutsche Telekom’s Tier1, global IPX network.

In addition, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier will showcase a wide array of products at their booth. Attendees will learn more about the company’s leading role in the 5G and 5G SA roaming space, as well as its comprehensive portfolio, which includes offerings in voice, signaling, mobility and IP transit.

The telco wholesaler will also introduce its newly launched Digital Service Portal, a unified platform where all digital services can be accessed through a single interface. This portal allows clients to seamlessly configure, purchase, utilize, and resell services. It offers a white-labelled ‘Portal-as-a-Service’ for clients to configure according to their brand and requirements.

Leonardo Saucedo commented, “I’m thrilled to be a part of Futurecom 2024. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with customers and partners, and to gain deeper insights into how we can best meet the region’s communication needs. We are here for the long haul and are confident that future LATAM clients will appreciate the value of our top-tier solutions.”
