Connect your clients' global sites with a secure network
We deliver WAN connectivity of enterprise sites to Deutsche Telekom’s own MPLS network or to that of its partners. Our business VPN solution also allows you to establish a global MPLS-based enterprise connection for your SD-WAN. Our solution ensures secure and reliable connectivity across enterprise sites with optimized traffic routing through the MPLS backbone. Local access deployed in the UNI is exclusively for VPN data traffic. Available bandwidth options range from 2Mbps up to 1Gbps on symmetrical Ethernet accompanied by numerous asymmetrical options on DSL and GPON.
Enjoy secure global site connectivity for your peace of mind
We are the strongest partner in Central and Eastern Europe with a global reach backed by remote workforces, providing a secure network for global sites. Our IP-VPN solution supports all carrier demands, including CE router delivery and maintenance, and offers numerous choices for access technology, bandwidth and topology. You benefit from our multi-VPN support across the same interface and access line, full class-of-service transparency, full support of customer IP and BGP settings, as well as any-to-any communication. A streamlined ordering process is followed by a supervised delivery phase.
IP-VPN mobile access for hard-to-reach locations or temporary use
Our pioneering IP-VPN Mobile Access solution for the wholesale market provides seamless VPN connectivity using mobile radio access technology from Deutsche Telekom. This is a long-awaited alternative to the usual fixed-line, wholesale IP-VPN service, as it also supports secure VPN connections to hard-to-reach or even temporary sites. The mobile end-point seamlessly integrates into your customers’ VPN, with all service elements provided from one source. It includes SIM card activation with a data plan, CE router delivery and maintenance and, upon request, external antenna installation for better signal reception.
The service utilizes the 4G/LTE technology of our mobile network in Germany and Hungary. We are planning to further extend IP-VPN Mobile Access in other countries via the Deutsche Telekom footprint soon.

FAQs for our IP-VPN solution
What is the difference between MPLS-based IP-VPN and mobile IP-VPN?
MPLS-based IP-VPN provides fixed, high-performance connections via physical access lines, while Mobile IP-VPN leverages LTE/5G mobile networks for flexible and temporary connectivity.
How is data secured in an IP-VPN?
IP-VPN ensures data security by using MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) to isolate traffic, ensuring it remains separate from other customers' data without encryption, as it’s already protected within the MPLS backbone.
What access technologies are supported by MPLS-based IP-VPN?
Access technologies include Ethernet, DSL, GPON, and fiber, offering symmetrical or asymmetrical bandwidth options based on customer needs.
What are the bandwidth options for mobile IP-VPN?
Mobile IP-VPN supports downstream speeds up to 150 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 50 Mbps, depending on LTE/5G availability and network conditions.
Can IP-VPN support hybrid or multi-cloud environments?
Yes, IP-VPN provides reliable connectivity to private data centers, cloud platforms, and hybrid environments, supporting integration with cloud service providers via dedicated NNI connections.
How does the class of service (CoS) feature work in IP-VPN?
CoS prioritizes traffic into categories (e.g., voice, video, and data) to ensure critical applications receive the necessary bandwidth and low latency. Both MPLS and Mobile IP-VPN support CoS for optimal traffic management.
What failover and redundancy options are available?
MPLS-based IP-VPN offers diverse access and redundant paths, while Mobile IP-VPN can act as a backup solution for MPLS connections, switching seamlessly to LTE/5G in case of failure.
How is routing managed in IP-VPN solutions?
Routing is managed via static or dynamic protocols like BGP and OSPF. MPLS-based IP-VPN handles routing through its backbone, while Mobile IP-VPN uses LNS (Layer 2 Network Server) for dynamic routing over mobile networks.
What are the typical use cases for mobile IP-VPN?
Mobile IP-VPN is ideal for temporary sites, backup connections, or locations without fixed-line access. It offers flexibility and quick deployment for remote or hard-to-reach locations.
How is quality of service (QoS) ensured in mobile IP-VPN?
Mobile IP-VPN leverages APN-based separation and prioritization mechanisms to ensure data traffic adheres to service-level agreements, though QoS may vary based on mobile network conditions.
